DGS Service Solutions wins another contract with the addition of Luxury Office Accommodation in Belfast to the DGS Service Solutions Portfolio

The contract wins continue at DGS Service Solutions with the successful tender of a contract to provide office cleaning and security support services for the Printworks, a luxury Office Development building in Belfast.  The luxury 6,000 square metre office development across six floors is  located on Queen Street is in the heart of Belfast City Centre, a short walk from City Hall and the main shopping and restaurant areas and is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious new office builds in recent years in Belfast.
Comprising a large block fronting Queen Street, College Street and College Court, The Printworks has been  sympathetically restored, and will connect with a new build element, providing seamless floorplates that wrap around a central atrium and cobbled courtyard. Two brand new floors are being added with glazed walls, providing spectacular views of the city and the hills beyond. The upper floors are suitable for office, or other uses subject to planning while the ground floor units would suit retailers, cafes, restaurants, or offices.

Back to School & Time to Hit The Books for DGS Service Solutions with Prestigious Grammar School Win

It was back to school  when the school term began last month and time to ‘hit the books’ for DGS Service Solutions as they secured a win for providing cleaning  services to Ballymena Academy, a prestigious Grammar School that provides over 1500 pupils with a friendly, caring and competitive learning environment across its 88 acre site.
The school has earned many accolades for high quality learning and teaching experiences since its inception with a hardworking, dedicated and professional staff who place great value upon high quality pastoral support.  The school has impressive state of the art facilities and specialist buildings to deliver the best possible teaching experience.

Exciting start for 2021 for DGS

2020 was a difficult year. Positive stories were few and far between. However here at DGS our business certainly saw many. Many of our traditional business development activities have been disrupted by travel restrictions and other necessary safety measures. But we have had to adapt and use online technologies more than ever before to form, maintain and develop relationships with clients. And to this end, our adaption has paid off in securing two lucrative contracts in Quarter 1 2021.

Firstly, we are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the tender for the Cleaning and Security Services at Tower Centre Shopping Centre in Ballymena. The contract is a 3-year contract to provide Security, Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance services throughout the centre.

Nuala McNally, Sales Director for DGS Service Solutions said: “DGS has established a strong presence in providing facilities services in Shopping Centres, and we are particularly pleased that Tower Centre has selected us to deliver this important Security and Cleaning contract. 

Hugh Black Centre Management said, “Following a competitive procurement process that assessed both cost and quality outcomes we felt that DGS Service Solutions was the perfect fit for this important contract, and we look forward to working with DGS to help us to achieve our goals for the future and help enhance the experience of our customers.”

 

Secondly, we are also delighted to announce we have also been awarded the contract for the provision of the CCTV system at The Junction. We have improved the remote monitoring of the system by upgrading it from analogue to a now digital system.
